Job summary

Omexom is seeking a Driver Operator for the Street Evaluating Laser Methane Assessment (SELMA) vehicle in Auckland. You will operate SELMA plant and related gas-detection equipment, and schedule survey areas based on client maintenance requirements.

This role requires a valid driver’s licence, basic safety knowledge, and strong planning skills. You will contribute to safe site practices, prepare data for monthly reporting, and work as part of a great team within a global energy infrastructure

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s licence.
• Basic knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the work.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate SELMA plant and equipment related to gas detection and location software.
• Schedule and plan survey areas based on client’s maintenance requirements.
• Record and report any gas leaks and other hazards through appropriate channels.
• Carry out standard housekeeping duties at work sites, e.g. cleaning and tidying of plant and equipment as required.
• Planning and scheduling any required maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare data for internal and client monthly reporting.
• Monitor and report on progress of work to managers and supervisor

About the Role
