Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver to join our Kerbside Collection team in Christchurch. You will operate hydraulic side-arm trucks, collect curbside bins, and plan routes to maximise efficiency while keeping safety front and center.

Ideal candidates hold a current Class 4 NZ driver’s licence, demonstrate a calm, safety-minded approach, and can work independently within a larger driving team. Expect guaranteed hours and ongoing training with the latest truck technologies.

Are you a seasoned Class 4 Driver ready for your next challenge? Whatever your journey - we’ve got a seat for you in our Kerbside Collection team.

We are seeking experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our team based Christchurch.

About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible completing kerbside wheelie bin collections using an hydraulic side-arm vehicle. Our vehicles have sophisticated tracking and safety monitoring systems and you will need to be able to work productively and plan your daily routes to optimise time and efficiency.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable fitness level. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

Qualifications

About you

As a professional driver, your focus is on safety and service delivery. You are comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of a large driving team.

You will need to have

• Up to date Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence
