Job summary

Quantum Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Roofer to join our established team in Dunedin, Otago. You will install, maintain, repair, and waterproof a wide range of roofing systems on residential and commercial projects across Otago and Southland.

The role offers full-time employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week, a competitive pay rate of $32.00–$40.00 per hour depending on experience, and ongoing development opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer in residential and/or commercial roofing.
• Understanding of NZ Building Code and roofing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Excellent health and safety awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Height safety certifications advantageous (Working at Heights and EWP).
• Trade qualification Level 4 Roofing or equivalent.
• Current Full NZ Driver Licence or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair roofing systems across residential and commercial projects.
• Carry out waterproofing, flashing, guttering, and downpipe installations.
• Inspect roofing systems, identify defects, and recommend repairs.

• Excellent health and safety awareness.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Confidence working at heights (Working at Heights and EWP certifications are advantageous).
• A relevant trade qualification (Level 4 Roofing or equivalent industry experience).
• A current Full New Zealand Driver Licence or the ability to obtain one.
