Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a team player for our Rolleston Distribution Centre. You will help ensure accurate picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include RF scanning, checking orders, sorting stock, loading conveyors, and maintaining safety. 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a 7:30am–4pm shift; onsite training provided.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Experience in Distribution/Warehouse environments is desirable.
• MHE experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanner and Warehouse Management System to process orders.
• Check incoming orders and pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
• Sort stock onto pallets and load cartons onto conveyors.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment; support team as needed.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment.

We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic,reliable,happy to get "stuck in" and see a job through from start to finish. Based in our Rolleston Distribution Centre, you will be working alongside a team that is dedicated to delivering product correctly to our customer while achieving great productivity rates.

We are looking for someone that can keep up with our fast-paced environment. This busy role could offer you a variety of tasks, including:

• Using a RF scannerand Warehouse Management System
• Checking incoming orders
• Picking, packing, and dispatching products forcustomer orders
• Sorting product onto store pallets in a timely manner
• Loading cartons onto conveyor belt
• Devanning containers and unloading cartons (1kg-20kg)
• Sorting stock by barcode
• Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines
• Bulk picking and stock management
• Jumping in where needed to support the team and get the job done
• Health and safety -actively promoting safe work practices and ensuring a safe work environment is maintained at all times.

40 hour week; Monday to Friday. Preferred shift time 7.30am-4pm.
