Job summary

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Whanganui is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician, working 40 hours a week/ 80 hours a fortnight! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification from a NZ training institute.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries
• Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Counselling customers about medications
• Dispensary stock management and replenishment
• Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

• Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player
• Experience working in the dispensary
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

• Dispensary Assistant Qualification as a minimum

Physical Requirements

• Repeat the same movements
• Stand for long periods of time
