Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand is seeking a Team Leader for Live Life Disability Support in Nelson. You will lead teams working in community residential homes supporting people with intellectual and physical disabilities, ensuring high quality care and meaningful day-to-day activities.

We offer permanent, full-time roles: 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) with noon-call on a rotating basis; shifts are Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, with start times 7.00 AM and finish 3.30 PM.

Qualifications

• Lead teams to support people with intellectual and physical disabilities in community residential homes.
• Must hold NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) or equivalent as assessed by the Ministry of Health.
• Experience in disability field is advantageous.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to connect people with community groups and activities.
• Ensure participation and wellbeing of the people supported in daily life.
