St Thomas Aquinas School (Winton) invites an inspiring educator to join as Scale A Teacher/Director of Religious Studies (DRS). You will teach across Years 1–8 and provide leadership in Religious Education within our faith-filled community.

Working with the principal and school, you will lead the curriculum Tō Tātau Whakapono, foster partnerships with parish, whānau and diocesan networks, and model Gospel values in every aspect of teaching and school life.

Qualifications

• Understands and models Gospel values and school virtues.
• Leads the implementation of Religious Education curriculum 'Tō Tātau Whakapono – Our Faith'.
• Works collaboratively on the leadership team and with Diocesan DRS community.
• Builds strong relationships with students, whānau and parish.
• Demonstrates high-quality classroom teaching with focus on student achievement.
• Keeps up-to-date curriculum and pedagogical knowledge.
• Leads with integrity, compassion and professionalism.
• Reflective and committed to ongoing professional growth as a teacher and leader.
• Brings positivity, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.

• Lead Religious Education and nurture the faith life of the school.

• Lead classroom teaching across Years 1–8 and advise on curriculum delivery.
