Introduction

Mo tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role

As a Digital Services Specialist, you will work across the Council's digital services technology ecosystem to develop low-code solutions and seamless integrations, and to automate workflows and leverage emerging technologies to enhance digital services. Your strong interpersonal, user experience and stakeholder engagement skills will allow you to be a digital advocate to facilitate the implementation and adoption of modern solutions and digital ways of working, aligning our digital services with Council’s Digital Blueprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, configure, and optimize digital services and workflows to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Provide specialist technical expertise to implement business-driven solutions.
  • Offer integrations expertise and support to ensure seamless system integrations.
  • Support digital transformation through intuitive, low-code automation tools.
  • Leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation and business efficiencies.
  • Balance technical skills with strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Support the Digital Services Manager by providing technical guidance and advice to others across the Council.
  • Manage vendor support contracts as required.
