Pou Herenga Tai - Twin Coast Cycle Trail Charitable Trust seeks a creative and culturally aware Digital Media Manager (contractor) to deliver advertisement design, website communications, and four targeted media campaigns over a fixed term, ending 30 June 2026. This role is for 7.5 hours per week and is ideal for someone passionate about digital storytelling, Māori culture, and community engagement.

About the Role:
  • Develop and deliver four media campaigns to promote the trail to new audiences, including international markets.
  • Use Google and the trail’s social media platforms, following our branding guidelines and using the provided material or creating your own
  • Highlight the trail’s unique selling point as a culture and heritage experience of Aotearoa/NZ.
  • Ensure messaging is sensitive to the communities and cultures of the Far North district.
  • Provide quarterly reports with research, evaluation, and data evidence.
About You:
  • Proven experience in digital media, social media marketing, and campaign delivery.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Understanding of Te Ao Māori, tikanga, and Te Reo Māori, or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of the Far North district’s communities and cultures is advantageous.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently.
  • Strong research, evaluation, and reporting skills.
Contract Details:
  • External contract, 7.5 hours per week.
  • Fixed term ending 30 June 2026.
