A non-profit organization is seeking a Digital Communications Volunteer to create and schedule social media content, engage with the online community, and uphold brand guidelines. This is a flexible volunteer role that requires strong writing skills and familiarity with tools like Canva. You'll gain real-world communications experience and receive training and support while making a measurable impact in the community.

We’re a national, Tiriti-honouring charity backing young women and gender-diverse people to lead, thrive, and create change. We use programmes, advocacy, and storytelling to advance equity across Aotearoa.
Create and schedule social content, write captions, and engage our online community to amplify campaigns and events. You’ll help keep Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and email on-brand, inclusive and accessible.
Key responsibilities
Nice to have (not essential)
0.5–1 hour per week, flexible, remote.
Occasional spikes around key campaigns (e.g. Week Without Violence); always by agreement.
Training, templates and ongoing support.
A reference and/or LinkedIn endorsement on completion of agreed hours and deliverables.
Real-world comms experience for a national kaupapa with measurable impact.
