Fletcher Building in Christchurch is seeking a friendly, customer-focused showroom assistant to support front-of-wall bathroom product sales and design solutions. You will help customers in-store and assist trade customers at the counter, delivering a warm, expert service.

Ideal candidates have experience in customer service or retail, a passion for design, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment.
• Proven experience in the trade industry.
• Passion for design or creative flair to assist customer with tailored solutions and ideas.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers.
• A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in showroom and provide product support.
• Maximize bathroom sales and promote exclusive product offers.
• Assist trade customers at the trade counter as well as other departments.
• Keep up to date with the latest plumbing/bathroom trends and inspire customers.
• Collaborate with supplies on customers' specifications.
