An exciting leadership opportunity at St Joseph's School, Taihape has arisen. We are seeking a dynamic, relational and enthusiastic educational leader to join our team as Deputy Principal from Term 1, 2027.

We are a Years 1-8 State Integrated Catholic Primary School at the heart of Taihape, proudly serving a diverse and supportive rural community. At St Joseph's School, faith and education work hand in hand to nurture the whole child and support every ākonga to learn, grow and achieve.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and emerging or established leader, to work alongside the Principal and staff to help shape the next chapter of our schools journey. We are looking for an excellent practitioner with proven leadership experience or strong leadership potential. You will be collaborative, organised, adaptable and solutions focused, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to our Gospel Values CARE, Community, Aroha, Resilience and Excellence.

This position carries a CL50 Special Character requirement.

Capabilities to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the special character of the school shall be a condition of appointment. It is not a condition of appointment that the applicant be Catholic.
