Job summary

Lumino Glenfield in Auckland is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team and support clinicians during dental procedures while upholding best practice standards. You will assist with taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, preparing materials, greeting patients and reviewing medical histories, plus stock and order dental supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid NZ work right.

Lumino Glenfield is currently on the lookout for an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld and the best patient care is provided.

• Assist clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.
• Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
• Stock and order dental supplies

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.

This is a Fixed Term role from 20 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 working 4 days a week and the hours are:

• Tuesday: 8:30am - 4:45pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:45pm
• Thursday: 8:30am - 4:45pm
• Friday: 8am - 5pm
