Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and plate a la carte, buffet, and pastry items to a consistently high standard
  • Ensure the kitchen remains spotless and compliant with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Step up to supervise operations when senior chefs are off duty
  • Work closely with Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Stay across current culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to menu planning
  • Support and guide junior chefs, helping to foster a positive team culture in the kitchen

Qualifications

You will be:

  • A passionate Demi Chef de Partie with at least 3 years of experience in a 4–5 star hotel kitchen or top-tier restaurant
  • Trained and qualified in culinary arts, with solid knife skills and technical know-how
  • Someone who brings creativity to the plate, with a strong eye for detail and presentation
  • Confident running the kitchen solo on overnight shifts, taking charge of both prep and service
  • Able to follow precise prep instructions and maintain consistency in every dish
  • Fully flexible to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
