Mitre 10 MEGA Whanganui is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our Trade team. Reporting to the Trade Manager, you will coordinate the delivery of customer orders, ensuring on-time and safe transport while supporting operational excellence.

You will work with customers, sales, yard teams, suppliers and contractors to maintain high service standards, manage vehicle readiness, and promote a positive team culture.

Formación

• Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, trade, transport, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise competing demands.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships across teams and with customers.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to health, safety, and compliance.
• A current full driver's licence; Class 2 licence is advantageous.

• Coordinating and overseeing the picking, loading, and delivery of customer orders.
• Supporting efficient delivery operations through effective planning and vehicle utilisation.
• Providing professional and courteous service to customers.
• Resolving delivery-related issues and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Promoting a positive team culture and high standards of performance.
• Contributing to productivity and efficiency improvements within the delivery function.
• Maintaining responsibility for the presentation and roadworthiness of company vehicles.
• Ensuring regular vehicle inspections and pre-start checks are completed.
