Job summary

Entelar Group is seeking a Delivery Engineer in New Zealand to deploy network, hardware, and software solutions for clients. You will participate across design, test, and implementation phases, shaping project scope and troubleshooting efficiency.

You will design, configure, and commission devices and networks, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance and security while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and suppliers. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership and delivery.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in a similar role (>5 years).
• Previous telecommunications or civil engineering experience.
• Excellent communication across formats and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, configures, and commissions devices, networks and systems with cross-vendor interoperability.
• Prepares project proposals outlining goals, scope, background and costs.
• Interprets specifications, drawings, and regulations for equipment use.
• Assists in planning and execution to ensure safe, efficient cell site construction.
• Manages sites end-to-end including consultants and progress tracking.
• Implements system and network security measures and regulatory compliance.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for telecom products and networks.
• Tests and evaluates telecom products to ensure performance and contingency readiness.
• Monitors network performance and maintains complex telecom systems.
• Requests purchase orders aligned with project scope.
• Coordinates site activities with stakeholders for timely completion.
• Plans labor, equipment, and materials; sustains project scheduling.
• Delivers projects on time and within commitments.
