Job description

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role that will see you involved in mainly delivering our products directly to the customer, however you will also be serving our customer on the Trade counter. The role will also involve assisting the team with putting stock away and cycle counting.

  • Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service
  • Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery and secured to our delivery truck.
  • Stocking shelves and cycle counting

This is a permanent part-time role offering 20 hours Working Monday to Friday, 8am- 12:30pm.

About you:

To shine in this role, you’ll need to be an organised and reliable team player who enjoys working in a close-knit team. Have a customer-focused and outgoing attitude and good work ethic.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers
  • A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team
  • Be confident with computers and learning new systems
  • Physically fit and a solid health and safety values
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • A Full New Zealand class 1 drivers’ licence is essential, and a forklift licence is advantageous
