Job summary

Dev Travels Limited is hiring a Delivery Driver to serve the Invercargill region in New Zealand. You will pick up and drop off packages, manage routes efficiently, and communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide timely delivery updates. The role is full-time with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.

Training and safety guidelines are provided. Applicants should have a valid Full Class 1 Driver's License, be capable of lifting up to 25 kg, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Valid Full Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg safely and repeatedly.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Comfort with smartphones, GPS and delivery tracking apps.
• Available to start early mornings with weekend/extended hours if needed.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Physically fit for a fast-paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages in a timely, safe manner.
• Load and unload items with care.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes.
• Liaise with dispatchers and customers for timely updates on deliveries including delays.
• Handle delivery paperwork and updates via mobile app.
• Carry out pre-vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
