Job summary

Service Foods Ltd in Waikato, Hamilton, is seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver for a fixed-term role until February 2027. Start date is immediate, with a Monday–Saturday roster from 4:30 am to 1:30 pm delivering a wide range of food products across the Waikato region.

As a delivery driver you will safely operate vans and trucks, load and unload orders, maintain delivery logs and client communications, and support dispatch and warehousing tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 driver’s licence (manual) is required.
• Relevant driving experience is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are important.
• Good knowledge of Waikato region and surrounding area.

Our Waikato branch is seeking an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our supportive, growing team in a fixed-term role until February 2027.

We value hard work, collaboration, and a positive attitude. This role has been created due to increased workload over the festive season, higher-than-forecast volumes, and the onboarding of a key customer.

• Location: Main Street Place, Te Rapa, Hamilton
• Employment Type: Fixed Term until 28 February 2027
• Start Date: Immediate
• Roster: Monday to Saturday (4:30 am – 1:30 pm)

About the Role

As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll deliver a wide range of food products across the mighty Waikato region, while providing outstanding customer service.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running.

You’ll need:

• A full Class 2 driver’s licence (manual driving required)

• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Reliable transport for commuting
• Basic knowledge of food ingredients is a plus
• A positive attitude and team spirit
