The role requires current certification, deep tissue expertise, strong palpation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage scheduling. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and commission, plus opportunities for education.

Qualifications

• Current certification or license as a Massage Therapist.
• Specialization in Deep Tissue massage techniques.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent palpation skills and the ability to identify areas of tension.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, with a primary focus on deep tissue and sports massage.
• Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their pain points and therapeutic goals.
• Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to address muscle pain, stiffness, and injury recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients.
• Educate clients on proper self-care and stretching techniques to complement their treatment.
