Data Governance Specialist - Cloud and Data Platforms

We’re looking for a Data Governance Specialist to join a high-performing team delivering enterprise-scale data solutions across diverse industries. This is a permanent position, open to candidates from consultant to management level, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data quality, compliance, and stewardship.
  • Drive metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging initiatives.
  • Support cloud-based data governance strategies across large-scale environments.
Ideal Person
  • Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure (strong proficiency required)
  • Data platforms: Snowflake and Databricks
  • Governance tools: Alation experience is a strong bonus
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Exposure to regulated industries, particularly financial services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to lead or contribute to data governance initiatives in complex environment
