Auckland Council is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join our Data Governance team and convert governance principles into practical, sustainable solutions across the organisation. You’ll work with stakeholders to strengthen data governance, improve data quality, and ensure safe and effective data lifecycle management.

Competenze

• Strong experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a Data & Analytics environment.
• Sound knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, ownership and classification.
• Experience embedding governance practices and managing data-related risks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with Alation, Collibra, Informatica or similar applications.
• Understanding of cloud, big data and Agile environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable discipline, or equivalent experience.
