Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or similar role.
• Strong skills in T-SQL, ETL/ELT development, and Python scripting.
• Experience with data visualization, Snowflake, and Cloud environments.

Job description

Join our client's innovative team as a Data Engineer to enhance their datasystems and processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop data processes and ETL procedures.
• Work with design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system
• Provide training and support on reporting tools.

Key Capabilities:

• Share knowledge and provide constructive feedback.
• Uphold professionalism and adhere to policies.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in a Data Engineering or similar role.
• Strong T-SQL, ETL/ELT development, and Python scripting skills.
• Use data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Experience with Cloud environments like AWS (Azure or Google more than welcome).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, DBT, Prefect (Airflow), and Github Actions
