Job summary

Wotton Kearney in Auckland is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Finance team and help drive informed decision-making through data, reporting and commercial insights. You’ll support strategic initiatives and operational improvements, develop Power BI dashboards, perform financial modelling and deliver executive reporting to underpin performance and growth.

While based in Auckland, candidates in Wellington or Christchurch will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, reporting, data analytics or performance-focused roles.
• Proficient in Power BI with dashboard/reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into insights.
• Experience establishing performance measures and tracking outcomes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Power BI reporting including client and practice group dashboard development
• Elite dashboards, reporting and system enhancements including billing development
• Client management information reporting, including quarterly bordereau and MI reporting
• Pricing Analysis, including Alterative Fee Arrangements and Capability Statements
• Financial modelling and analysis, including forecasting, profitability, remuneration, ROI and expense analysis
• Ad hoc reporting for clients, practice groups, product lines, and fee earners
• Management of key client data
