Kirimana Consultants is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team on a range of exciting projects across the Marlborough region. We have multiple positions available for reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to work alongside our experienced tradesmen.

We offer roles across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Marlborough, Tasman and West Coast with potential travel between regions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience or a trade qualification in electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance.
• Ability to provide references to support work history.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture brackets based on engineering direction, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
• Fabricate and install cable trays and supports as needed.
• Install cables in accordance with good electrical practices.
• Install equipment following engineering best practice.
• Work under supervisor guidance to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
• Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor.
• Perform other related tasks as reasonably required.

About the Position

• Manufacture brackets based on engineering direction, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation
• Fabricate and install cable trays and supports as needed
• Install cables in accordance with good electrical practices
• Install equipment following engineering best practice
• Work under supervisor guidance to meet time, cost, and quality requirements
• Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor
• Perform other related tasks as reasonably required

We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You'll need to communicate effectively with your supervisor, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute positively to the team environment.

Minimum Experience Required

At least 2 years' experience or a trade qualification (or higher) in a similar role involving electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance. You must be able to provide references to support your work history.

Pay & Conditions

• Hourly rate: $33-43 (waged)
• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on the project stage
• Workdays: Monday to Saturday

Locations

Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Marlborough, Tasman and West Coast.

For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.

If you have electrical qualifications or strong potential but not the required experience, we may have limited opportunities for training and upskilling.
