A leading data solutions provider in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Tester to lead testing across data and application development. You will design test strategies, ensure quality in deployments, and mentor others. Candidates should have strong skills in data/software testing and proficiency in Power BI. You’ll lead testing efforts across data, reporting, and application development initiatives. This includes designing and implementing test strategies, embedding quality practices early in solution delivery, and evolving automated testing frameworks. You’ll be hands-on with regression, functional, and performance testing across BI and IT platforms, run UAT sessions, and document results. A big part of your role will also be stakeholder engagement, working closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, vendors, and project teams to ensure consistent quality across deployments. You’ll also maintain the organisational Testing Framework, drive continuous improvement, and mentor others in best practices.
