Job summary

Backpackerboard is seeking motivated and reliable people to join our client, a leading New Zealand dairy and nutrition company, at their modern processing facility near Rolleston. You’ll be part of a busy production team, with a range of day, night and rotating shift options across multiple departments.

The role offers on-site work with overtime opportunities, ongoing training and genuine career progression within a world-class facility.

Qualifications

• Honest, reliable and motivated team players.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
• Responsive in communication – able to answer emails and texts promptly when additional shifts are available.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and available to work the shift pattern required by your department, including weekends and public holidays.
• Available to pick up shifts at short notice where required.
• Full Driver Licence.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check.
• Valid working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production line machinery
• Operating filling machines, case packers and palletising robots
• Sorting, packing, sampling and completing quality checks
• Assisting with general production line duties
• Managing damaged or wasted product
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
• Following all food safety and health & safety standards
