CRV Ambreed is seeking a reliable Herd Test Technician for a fixed-term position covering the 2026/27 season in the Winton/Southland area. You will set up herd testing equipment, collect milk samples during milking, and accurately record herd data using electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
• Confidence using technology and mobile data systems.
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with farmers.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable around livestock and in dairy shed environments.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
