Job summary

Thales seeks a Cybersecurity System Engineer in New Zealand to contribute to design, implementation and assessment of security controls for AMS Systems, projects and internal systems. You will report to the Project Security Manager and Squad Scrum Master and drive secure solutions with security documentation.

Requirements include 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong IAM/PAM/SIEM/EDR knowledge, and ISO 27001 familiarity; occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in engineering or computer science with cybersecurity focus.
• 5+ years of proven cybersecurity experience.
• Desirable CISSP or similar qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of security solutions meeting customer needs.
• Lead security control implementation and monitoring activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Develop security documentation (SoA, SRP, SSP).
• Coordinate with stakeholders on security controls and processes.
