Job description

This is a varied role working across the whole branch, with a main focus on completing deliveries directly to customers. The role also involves sales on the Trade Counter, Cycle Counting, Inwards Goods, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Loading/Unloading products, and other branch duties.

  1. Ensure customers, including trades, businesses, and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service.
  2. Support the team with inventory management, inwards goods, and deliveries.
  3. Organise products and prepare them for delivery.
  4. Accurately check and receipt products into our systems.

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with rostered Saturdays.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you should have a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic. You will work closely and flexibly with our team, demonstrating excellent teamwork skills. Additionally, you should possess:

  • Knowledge or experience in plumbing or drainage is ideal but not essential.
  • Proven experience in customer service, retail sales, hospitality, inward goods, or warehousing.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Confidence with computers and learning new systems.

A full New Zealand driver’s license is essential. Forklift experience and license are advantageous.
