Job summary

Hirepool Vehicle Rentals in Queenstown is seeking a Customer Service/Groomer to join a small, hardworking team. You will field queries, provide quotes and contracts, and ensure our vehicles are groomed, maintained, and ready for hire.

You’ll need a full Class 1 licence, strong communication, and good computer skills. The branch operates Monday to Saturday, so some rostered work is required, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a rostered basis Monday–Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, provide sales advice and quotes.
• Create contracts and complete transactions.
• Coordinate and deliver/pick-up vehicles.
• Office administration and customer account maintenance.
• Keep the branch's vehicle and rental fleet groomed.
• Ensure all compliance checks are performed.
• Identify and escalate repair/maintenance issues.
• Manage maintenance and damages as required.

Our Hirepool Vehicle Rentals team provide expert advice to business, commercial and recreational travellers on a wide variety of transport options. Catering to both local short-term customers and larger long-term contracts, we meet the transport needs of everyone from big names in infrastructure, construction, film/TV, and sporting events to independent contractors, and casual weekend hirers.

As a Customer Service/Groomer you need excellent customer service and communication skills and a confident phone manner to field queries, provide advice and put quotes and contracts together, as well as ensure our vehicles are well groomed, maintained, and ready for hire. Show great attention to detail and have excellent time management skills. At this branch, you're part of a small, hardworking team so you need to be prepared to help out across all areas of branch operations.

What you need:

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (a Class 2 is a great advantage)
• Mechanical interest and aptitude would be great
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Intermediate computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work with a diverse array of people and build successful working relationships
• Willingness to work on a rostered basis - our branch is open Monday-Saturday.
