Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Ravenswood is seeking an entry-level team member for the Computers department to help deliver a smooth checkout experience and support day-to-day store operations. You will be part of a collaborative retail team and assist customers with purchases and product information.

You’ll receive hands-on training on our systems and processes to help you succeed, build strong customer service skills, and grow within one of New Zealand’s leading retailers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop retail skills.
• Basic computer literacy and numeracy.
• Previous customer-facing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process sales, gift vouchers, returns and credit claims using POS systems.
• Always provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain POS supplies including EFTPOS, finance and docket books.
• Support the presentation and organisation of the Computers department.
• Assist with stocktakes and general operational tasks.
• Work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
