We now have a vacancy for a self-starting, experienced appliance service tech for Dunedin providing technical expertise to our valued customers. Our Customer Service Technicians perform service calls and repairs of our products in our customer homes providing "Best in Class" customer service.

We recognise the importance of ongoing training and development, and you will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with others in the wider team. Days and Work Hours:

What would work for you? We understand that in today's world lives are busy for you and for our customers, so why stick to the traditional work hours. We are open to flexible working hours that work for both you and our customers. Our schedules normally run from Monday- Friday.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and fully test the operation of the product ensuring full customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain superior product knowledge across all product lines through all training media, service manuals and training sessions.
  • Complete all paperwork and documents related to service work and cash collection.
  • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory.

What you will need:

  • Experience in appliance repair and troubleshooting.
  • Relevant Qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Repair.
  • Registered Electrical Licenceessential (GAS licence, advantageous).
  • Relevant Qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Repair (Cookware experience desirable).
  • Strong communication skills and strong PC skills.
  • Ability to provide premium customer service.
  • Clean criminal history and driver’s license.
  • Must be physically fit and healthy - a pre-employment medical will be conducted.
