We’re looking for a Customer Data Strategy Lead to join our Data and AI team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a pivotal role where you’ll connect our Data and Marketing teams to deliver a unified customer data strategy that drives smarter, more personalised customer experiences.

Your role will see you:

  • Lead the development and execution of our customer data strategy.
  • Champion the adoption of our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and marketing automation tools.
  • Translate business goals into actionable data strategies that drive segmentation, personalisation and growth.
  • Guide data governance, quality and compliance across the business.
  • Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring data is used to deliver meaningful, tailored experiences.
  • Collaborate across Data, Marketing and CX teams to embed data-driven decision making.

You’re equally at home in the world of data and marketing, with 5+ years of experience in customer data strategy, Martech, or data-driven marketing. You can balance technical requirements with commercial priorities, and you know how to bring people with you through change. Most importantly, you think customer first – seeing every data point as a way to make experiences better.

This is a hands-on leadership role without direct reports, perfect for someone who loves influencing, collaborating and making things happen.

You'll bring:

  • Experience with CDPs and marketing automation platforms (Adobe Campaign experience a plus)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills
  • Ability to balance technical detail with commercial priorities
  • A growth mindset and passion for innovation
