Job summary

Wilcox is seeking an experienced Crop Supervisor to join our Matamata growing operation. This hands‑on role supervises crop production activities while leading and developing production teams to achieve high standards of safety, quality, productivity and sustainability.

You will work closely with the Regional Manager, Production Manager and Crop Manager to oversee crop establishment through to harvest, while supporting operational planning, staff leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of tertiary qualification or 3–5 years' experience in crop production or commercial horticulture.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice.
