Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites a registered Social Worker to join the Emergency Mental Health team at Hillmorton Hospital, Christchurch. This full‑time 0.94FTE permanent role focuses on 24/7 crisis assessment, short‑term treatment and safe care planning, within a supportive multi‑disciplinary environment.

You will bring current APC with a mental health scope, NZ driver's license and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Social Worker with current APC and mental health scope
• Full New Zealand driver's license
• Experience in mental health settings preferred; training provided for right candidate

• Provide timely mental health assessments, crisis interventions and short-term intensive treatment
• Work collaboratively with service users, whanau/families, and partner agencies to ensure safe and effective care
• Work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment where no two days are the same
