Fisher & Paykel Appliances in Auckland seeks a hands-on Sous Chef to join our team at our new Global Headquarters. You will drive menu development, food preparation and service delivery while leading a collaborative kitchen team.

You’ll lead by example during busy services, coach junior chefs, manage costing, stock and waste, and uphold rigorous food safety standards. A dynamic, creative role with opportunities to shape catering for staff.

Qualifikationen

• High-end or hatted/Michelin-star kitchen experience preferred.
• Current Food Safety and Hygiene certification required.
• Culinary qualification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support menu development and costing.
• Lead by example during busy services.
• Coach and develop junior chefs and catering team members.
• Coordinate catering requests and functions for meetings and events.
• Manage food ordering, stock, budgets and wastage.
• Maintain HACCP and health & safety standards.
• Provide leadership to the Site Food & Beverage Manager when required.
