Job summary

Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Creative Industries teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027 (2 February 2027) until 26 January 2028. The role ideally covers Design and Visual Communication (DVC) and Digital Technologies, with IB pathway training provided if needed.

We encourage applicants who bring a creative perspective and are willing to contribute to a supportive, collegial learning community and co-curricular activities for students from Years 7–13.

• Passionate about teaching young women.

Mō te tūranga: About the role

• Full-time, fixed-term Creative Industries teacher, starting Term 1, 2027 (2nd February 2027) until 26th January 2028
• Ideally, you will be able to teach both Design and Visual Communication (DVC) and Digital Technologies
• We would also welcome applications from strong candidates with a different Creative Industries specialism. Please state your specialism in your application.
• We offer students a dual pathway with NCEA and the International Baccalaureate. IB teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given.
