A governmental organization in Gisborne is seeking Court Security Officers to ensure a safe environment in courts. Responsibilities include engaging with the public, assessing security risks, and collaborating with agencies. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, teamwork ability, and a clean driving record. Benefits include 22 days holiday leave and flexible work hours.
As Court Security Officers, we take pride in serving our community by providing a safe and secure environment for people to gain access to the justice system. We interact, assist, and build relationships with diverse groups of people every day, ensuring our courts operate without fear of intimidation or violence. Our Court Security Officers are a valued and important part of the Court Justice system. We will ensure you have the training to operate as a Court Security Officer under the Court Security Act 1999 at induction training.

This is a 40-hour-a-week role with some paid overtime available when extra cover is required. You may also be required to work a minimum 4-hour shift on Saturdays.

The remuneration band for this role is $59,729 to $80,794 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
