About you

  • Experience working in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, or similar Pacific country or developing country contexts is highly desirable — we welcome candidates who have managed comparable country portfolios in the Pacific region or elsewhere.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-sector, grants — from acquisition through to reporting — within the international development sector.
  • Strong financial management skills, including preparation and analysis of project budgets and financial reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with experience working with institutional donors (such as MFAT), country offices, and NGO partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, donor reporting, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to World Vision\'s mission and Christian values, with respect for the diversity of all people.
