Job summary

Rocket Lab in Auckland seeks a Cost Analyst to own costing accuracy, inventory valuation, and financial reporting across NZ and US teams. You’ll work with ERP systems, reconcile orders, and build cost reports to inform management decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in general ledger and cost accounting, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to interpret complex data and explain findings clearly.
• Experience with GAAP or IFRS compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain costing and inventory data accuracy in the ERP system.
• Reconcile production orders, WIP, counts and variances.
• Build costing reports for management and statutory reporting.
• Support month-end processing and project costing.
