The CompanyJoin a global leader in the freight industry as a Corporate Communications Executive, where you’ll play an important role in shaping their external and internal brand communications in the New Zealand market.
The RoleIn this highly visible role, you'll take ownership of external and internal communications for a globally recognised brand. Collaborating closely with the marketing team and senior leadership, you will ensure consistent and engaging messaging across all platforms and stakeholders, managing and enhancing brand image and reputation externally and employee engagement across the business.
Key areas of accountability:
- Managing media and PR agency relationships
- Producing press releases, corporate announcements, newsletters and social media content
- Management of all customer facing communications and websites
- Coordinating internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels
- Supporting the marketing team and company leadership with events, media briefings, reports, presentations etc. as required
Skills and ExperienceThe right candidate will bring strong communication skills with the ability to write, edit and adapt tone for various audiences. They will demonstrate keen attention for detail and brand alignment, will be a creative and innovative problem solver and an influencer who builds strong relationships.
- Experience in communications, PR, journalism or related field (1-3 years desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or similar
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability toadapt tone for diverse audiences
- Strong project coordination and organisational abilities
- Familiarity with tools like Marketo or similar digital marketing platforms
- Comfortable engaging with senior leaders, media and PR stakeholders
- Calm under pressure and able to respond to media issues at short notice
- High attention to detail and brand consistency
