Job description

Join us in a dynamic support role that keeps our teams moving and our facilities running smoothly.

Our Business Support team is looking for an organised and proactive Procurement, Fleet & Facilities Coordinator to provide parental leave cover through to early September 2026. Based in either Mangawhai or Dargaville, this fixed-term role supports procurement processes, vehicle fleet management, and facilities coordination for our office premises.

  • This is a fixed-term, full-time role through to 05 September 2026, based in Mangawhai or Dargaville with flexible work-from-home options.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating vehicle purchasing, maintenance, insurance, and fleet systems (SmartTrak)
  • Overseeing office maintenance and contractor liaison for Mangawhai and Dargaville sites
  • Managing contract records and supporting staff inductions for fleet, facilities, and procurement
  • Providing procurement advice and support to managers for procurement
  • Administering the GETS and Tenderlink procurement portals on behalf of KDC

What you'll bring:

This is a great opportunity to apply your coordination and systems skills in a role where variety is the norm and relationship management is key.

  • Experience in facilities or fleet coordination - ideally both
  • A background in developing and refining business processes
  • Strong attention to detail, solid Microsoft Office skills, and a knack for keeping systems and records accurate and up to date
  • A practical, solution-focused approach and confidence working across teams to get things done
  • A full driver's licence and the flexibility to travel within the district as needed
