Job summary

  • Proven experience providing administrative, coordination or project support across multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and relationship management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital tools to coordinate work, manage information and produce reports.
  • Experience organising meetings, events or projects, including managing logistics and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Join a team making a meaningful impact across the health sector. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in supporting projects, coordinating business operations, and helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes. Working closely with managers, stakeholders and project teams, you'll be at the centre of planning, problem-solving and collaboration, ensuring work runs smoothly and priorities stay on track.

In this role, you will:

Te Aho o Te Kahu, the Cancer Control Agency, provides national leadership for and oversight of cancer control.

Te Aho o Te Kahu takes a whole-of-system focus on preventing and managing cancer and oversees system-wide prioritisation and coordination of cancer care in New Zealand. It is accountable for ensuring transparency of progress towards the goals and outcomes in the National Cancer Action Plan.
