Job summary

Timescapes, a hardware and SaaS business scaling across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the US, seeks a Chief Operating Officer to be the CEO's second-in-command and run day-to-day operations.

This build-role requires turning existing systems into scalable foundations, owning the operating rhythm, data, field service, and governance while leading a high-performing team across four markets. It’s the engine for growth beyond $10M ARR.

Qualifications

• The role requires building scalable operating foundations and a data-driven, AI-enabled operating model.
• Leads end-to-end operations including field service, logistics, and governance across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Build the operational foundations to hit growth projections and scale volume across markets.
• Run the operating rhythm with leadership meetings, reviews and quarterly planning.
• Own the business systems (ERP, CRM, field service, billing) and the S&OP process.
• Develop real data/BI capabilities for visibility across all markets and functions.
• Lay the foundation for an AI-native operator and govern information and knowledge.
• Own end-to-end operations from distribution to field service and regional teams.
• Improve gross margin and decide what to keep in-house vs. partner as volume grows.
• Own operational finance and compliance across four markets and currencies.
