About the role

Review existing contracts, assess timelines and risk, and support clear decision-making on renewals and actions. Bring your contracts expertise to help create visibility and improve contract management across supported agencies.

In this role, you'll leverage your existing experience from end to end Contract negotiation and management in a government space, to:

• Review and interpret existing supplier contracts with a focus on risk and timeframe
• Provide clear summaries on expiry, rollover, and renewal terms
• Prioritise contracts requiring immediate attention or action
• Collaborate with the Procurement & Contracts Manager to recommend next steps and action.
• Develop a system to improve tracking and visibility of contract status

You'll be a key support to the Procurement & Contracts Manager, helping to reduce risk and lift the quality of contract oversight.

This is a proactive role suited to someone experienced in government contracts, confident navigating NZGP rules, and ready to create clarity and structure from day one.
