For over three decades, this organisation has been central to how New Zealanders experience sport and entertainment content. They're now pushing boundaries, accelerating innovation, and creating next-generation viewing experiences.

They need a Senior Network Engineer for a 1-year contract, who's as passionate about cutting-edge technology as they are about premium content delivery.

You'll architect robust network systems that keep millions of New Zealanders connected to live sport, breaking news, and premium series. Responsibilities

• Develops network strategy – creating roadmaps and leading delivery initiatives that support ambitious growth objectives
• Mentors and develops emerging network engineering talent
• Tackles complex challenges across broadcast core and network infrastructure
• Champions innovation through new technology deployment and automation initiatives
• Maintains excellence in service delivery – because customers expect seamless experiences

Qualifications

• 7+ years in complex network environments (the more challenging, the better!)
• CCNA certified with CCNP or actively pursuing certification
• CCIE aspirations – continuous learning mindset valued
• BGP expertise and practical experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, NetScalers
• Technical leadership background with collaborative approach
• VoIP knowledge (Teams, video conferencing platforms)
• Solution-focused thinking and natural technical curiosity
