Job summary

Fonterra in Waikato is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst contractor to support the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) within a major transformation programme. You will capture requirements, map processes, develop user stories, and drive solution delivery with business stakeholders, SMEs, product and tech teams.

This contract offers exposure to a high-profile project in a regulated manufacturing environment.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst contractor to support the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as part of a major transformation programme. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, product teams, and technical teams to capture requirements, map processes, develop user stories, and help drive successful solution delivery and adoption.

This is a contract opportunity offering the chance to work on a high-profile programme within a complex operational environment. While LIMS experience is beneficial, candidates with strong experience delivering Quality Management System (QMS), compliance, or process transformation initiatives will also be highly regarded.

You are a seasoned Senior BA with a track record of delivering successful technology and business transformation projects. You are confident facilitating workshops, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and translating complex business requirements into clear delivery artefacts.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• Quality Management System (QMS) implementations or transformations
• Process mapping, process improvement, and business change initiatives
• Requirements elicitation, user story creation, and documentation
• Compliance, quality, or regulated operational environments
• Manufacturing, food production, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or similar industries

Experience with LIMS, SampleManager, laboratory operations, quality systems, ISO standards, or regulated environments will be highly advantageous.
