Job summary

Personnel Resources - Kawerau is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support a busy finance team on a short-term basis. The role will cover AR processing, bank reconciliations, CAPWIP reviews, asset capitalization, lease records, and month-end tasks.

You should have solid Excel and SAP skills, prior accounting experience, and the ability to work independently in Kawerau. The assignment is expected to run for about three weeks with flexible hours for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: processing invoices at month end.
• Bank: transaction reconciliation.
• Capital: CAPWIP review, asset identification & capitalisation, month end depreciation.
• Leases: recording and reconciliation; month end process.
• Month end: balance sheet reconciliations, GST return preparation.
