Gisborne Hospital in Gisborne, NZ is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist (1.0 FTE) to contribute to Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti Mental Health and Addiction Services. The role offers a diverse clinical caseload, opportunities to explore specialty areas, and the chance to shape new service models within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent.
• Registered or eligible for vocational registration in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Broad clinical experience across adult and geriatric psychiatric settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide Consultant Psychiatry services in General Adult and related areas as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to new service models and community engagement to improve Māori health equity.
• Work with whanau/families in distress and support clinical leadership in mental health care.
